Job summary

Hanks HRM Solutions is seeking a certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our pediatric practice. You will be the bridge between families and providers, rooming patients, recording vitals, and documenting chief complaints in the EHR, while ensuring children feel safe and supported.

The role requires 1+ years in a clinical setting, familiarity with Florida immunization schedules and SHOTS, and proficiency with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks, Athena, Office Ally).

Qualifications

• CMA certification required.
• 1+ year clinical experience; pediatric preferred.
• Familiarity with Florida immunization schedule and SHOTS (DH Form 680).
• Comfort with newborns through young adults and needle-phobia handling.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vitals and complaints in the EHR.
• Administer pediatric immunizations and medications as directed.
• Perform point-of-care testing and finger-stick draws.
• Provide after-care instructions and triage calls.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and sanitize equipment daily.
