University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Health invites applications for a General Pediatric Clinician Educator at open rank/open track, full-time, in Galveston. The role combines clinical care in general pediatrics and urgent care with education of residents and medical students across UTMB’s Galveston Island and League City campuses.

The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric care, supervise learners, and participate in academic activities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in General Pediatrics.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general pediatric care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the division’s clinical and educational missions.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
