Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston seeks a General Pediatric Clinician Educator (Open Rank) to join the Department of Pediatrics as a full-time faculty member. The role combines clinical care with medical education of residents and medical students, with oversight for Pediatric APPs in RWSP clinics.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in General Pediatrics.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and medical education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general pediatric care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the division’s clinical and educational missions.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
