Responsibilities include coordinating studies, budgeting, IRB document prep, and data collection. The role involves patient recruitment, data monitoring, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies across sites in Grand Rapids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in health or science related field or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant experience in clinical research and project management
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC or BLS - AHA; 90 days required

Responsibilities

• May serve as primary coordinator / project manager on a variety of research studies with low or moderate regulatory, clinical, and operational complexity; supports the PI and research team members.
• Evaluates and prepares research studies for implementation including: assessment of operational feasibility; budget development; preparation of IRB documents; institutes protocol operations; attends study meetings.
• Identifies, recruits, screens, and enrolls eligible subjects per protocol; performs protocol-required research activities.
• Monitors patient status; collects, reviews, and documents data into systems per protocol.
• Maintains research studies in compliance with federal, state, and local law, GCP, contracts, and institutional policies.
• Coordinates and/or performs study activities including adverse events; management of investigational product/test article; collection, processing, and shipment of specimens.
• Communicates and collaborates with sponsor, CRO, study centers, investigators, physicians, and multidisciplinary team.
