Job summary

You will work closely with physicians and study staff, ensure adherence to FDA GCP, and communicate across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; four years of related experience may substitute for degree
• One year of relevant experience required
• Masters/MD preferred for preferred qualifications
• Familiarity with REDCap and database maintenance is advantageous
• Knowledge of FDA Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruit research participants via phone and on-site clinics (30% effort)
• Confirm eligibility and obtain informed consent
• Educate participants on study procedures as needed
• Coordinate with nursing units and schedule research visits
• Document and maintain the research database
• Submit research protocols for IRB and regulatory agencies
• Perform study tasks (height/weight, questionnaires)
• Process and ship specimens as needed
• Prepare reports to PI, faculty, staff as required
• Perform other duties to support the research team
