Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I for Pediatrics Gastroenterology to coordinate a complex observational MOM study. You will recruit participants, obtain informed consent, coordinate visits, and ensure protocol compliance in hospital and home settings.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and data management skills, with occasional weekend/evening hours and experience with REDCap, Excel, and EPIC preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association/Red Cross).
• No specific work experience is required for this position.
• A driver's license is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Implements and manages all phases of study/protocol; ensures compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory requirements; establishes record-keeping systems; assesses participants’ progress; analyzes adverse events; coordinates with physicians and agencies.
• Recruits and enrolls study participants; obtains informed consent; explains procedures; administers/tests and evaluates lab/clinical assessments for timely completion.
• Ensures timely completion of protocol requirements including scheduling, data collection, and reporting; analyzes data trends and prepares summaries and recommendations.
• Collects clinical data under clinical research protocols.
