Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join the Neurodevelopmental CAMHS team. You will assess and treat children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism and ADHD, within a multidisciplinary setting.

The role involves leading specialist assessments, formulating treatment plans, and delivering interventions across NHS settings, with opportunities for involvement in service development and research.

Qualifications

• Specialist psychological service provision to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental and co-morbid mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments of children and adolescents referred to the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental team using complex data from multiple sources.
• Develop and implement formal psychological treatment plans based on appropriate theoretical models.
• Deliver individual, group and family-based psychological interventions and adapt formulations as needed.
• Provide specialist child neuropsychology assessments and offer consultation to other NHS professionals and agencies.
• Maintain autonomous responsibility for assessment, treatment and discharge planning within service requirements.
• Collaborate with other professionals to support client care and maintain effective links with external agencies.
