Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina or eligible to practice in NC.
• Completion of an accredited residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to provide drug information and supervise medication use.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor medication therapy for safety and efficacy.
• Dispense medications per physician prescriptions with compliance.
• Educate caregivers, patients and students on medications.
• Oversee medication processes and data collection for reports.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize drug therapy and outcomes.
• Ensure proper procurement, storage and maintenance of medications.
• Support investigational medications with required documentation.
• Participate in rounds and contribute to patient care decisions.
