Job summary

Qualifications

• Must graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.

• Analytical skills to ensure medication is prepared per standards.
• Critical thinking to advise physicians and patients on use and side effects.
• Maintain board CE requirements with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders and dispenses medications for pediatric patients.
• Responds to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals.
• Oversees duties of pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
