Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure safe, effective medication therapy within a pediatric hospital setting. The role includes reviewing orders, dispensing medications, and providing clinical education to staff, patients and families.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD (or equivalent), Georgia licensure or eligibility, and at least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience. BLS certification within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• PharmD (or equivalent) and graduation from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Georgia licensed pharmacist or eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
• 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, processes, and dispenses physician medication orders for pediatric patients.
• Provides drug information to healthcare professionals and supports safe, cost-effective therapy.
• Supervises areas when in charge and mentors staff or students.
