Job summary

Duke Children’s Specialty Services Clinic in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to provide direct and indirect patient care within a vibrant pediatric outpatient setting. You will triage, assess, educate patients, and coordinate ABPM/holter monitoring under nursing leadership.

Responsibilities include nursing process documentation, care coordination, and participating in ongoing performance improvement. NC RN license required with pediatric experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN license in NC required or eligible, with BLS.
• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ASN, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Minimum 12 months of pediatric clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing triage, assessment, and patient education via telephone and secure messaging.
• Plan and document nursing care using the nursing process under supervision.
• Coordinate Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) and Holter monitor activities.
• Provide cross-coverage to support continuity of care and clinic operations.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and staff education.
• Conduct intake with patients including vital signs and basic charting.
• Support other related duties as needed.
