Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a skilled nurse to coordinate comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring timely documentation, follow-up, and adherence to established practices.

The role emphasizes clinical trials data management, protocol development, and cross-department collaboration to support safe, high-quality care across age groups, from neonates to adults.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in nursing (required).
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in GA or multi-state license via eNLC/Compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates evaluation and consultation process for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and ensures documentation and follow-up of tests and coordination of care.
• Ensures appropriate outpatient care and follow-up by handling calls and providing documents and medication refills.
• Develops, maintains, and implements protocols and data collection tools for research patients and coordinating follow-up appointments.
• Provides input and assists in developing policies, procedures and coordinating regulatory accreditation and audit processes.
• Establishes relationships with departments to ensure program activities comply with guidelines and standards.
• Develops information programs for staff on program criteria and status.
• Performs other activities to ensure safe and therapeutic continuity of patient care.
• Demonstrates competencies that cover age-specific guidelines from Neonate to Adult.
