Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose

Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of education and practice programs for clinical staff that promote the provision of a superior patient experience for patients and their families. Coordinates and manages hospital-wide educational programs and resources supporting clinical educators and leaders at the unit/department level.

Responsibilities
  1. Manages key hospital-wide or multidepartmental programs to support clinical staff education needs.
  2. Develops, implements, and evaluates continuing education programs, orientation curriculums, and ongoing professional development for clinical staff that meet or exceed national standards.
  3. Collaborates with administration, patient care services, leadership, shared leadership councils, staff, and key department and system personnel to develop education plans and implement patient care and regulatory requirements.
  4. Analyzes developmental and educational needs and evaluates the effectiveness of educational activities.
  5. Designs educational programs that are cost-effective, meet the needs of adult learners, and are based on sound educational principles.
