Job summary

aah is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time role in Charlotte, NC. You will prepare patients for exams, obtain vital signs, and document health information while supporting physicians and the care team throughout procedures and treatments.

Compensation ranges from $24.10 to $36.15 per hour, with a typical 40-hour work week and M-F 8am-5pm schedule. Relevant licensure and BLS are required within 45 days.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to organize tasks and prioritize patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam, records vital signs and updates health information.
• Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assists physicians with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administers medications under orders, including IV therapy initiation within scope.
• Provides patient education and coordinates referrals and follow-ups.
• Maintains accurate documentation and communicates with the health care team.
