Job summary

CoxHealth’s Pediatric Center in Springfield seeks an LPN to join a busy ambulatory team. You will perform administrative tasks—phone calls, scheduling, and data entry—and clinical duties such as vital sign assessment, medication review, patient preparation, and room setup.

The role requires an Missouri LPN license, excellent communication skills, and ability to work both independently and with a team. Prior ambulatory clinic experience is preferred; day shifts with regular hours available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus completion of an approved practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license/registration active in Missouri.
• Preferred: prior healthcare experience in ambulatory/clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and data entry in medical records.
• Measure and record vital signs; review medication lists and demographics.
• Prepare patients for examination; assist providers and other staff.
• Clean rooms, stock supplies, and administer medications as ordered.
• Carry out delegated tasks under supervision and use computer systems proficiently.
