Job summary

Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC seeks an experienced RN for the Hematology/Oncology Care Unit. The role focuses on comprehensive nursing care for pediatric oncology and BMT patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and ensure safe administration of chemotherapy/biotherapy. Minimum ASN; DC RN license required; BLS and APHON Chemobiotherapy Provider certification are required.

Qualifications

• ASN is required for qualification.
• BSN is preferred and demonstrates advanced preparation.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in DC is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy safely.
• Manage care of patients with central lines (broviac, port-a-cat, PICC).
• Handle hazardous drugs with proper precautions.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families.
