Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. This position offers flexible opportunities to work in a variety of settings based on your interests and strengths. Available settings include:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to therapy.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Engage in family-centered care practices, involving parents and caregivers in the therapy process and providing resources and support as needed.
  • Specialize in areas of interest, such as feeding therapy, sensory integration, or emotional regulation, based on individual career goals and client needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapy programs, including our highly regarded feeding program.
Qualifications:

For Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA):

  • Associate's degree from an accredited COTA program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a COTA in Delaware.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations with a variety of disabilities preferred.
