Job summary

Seattle Children's seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab to support anesthesia care, circulate cases and monitor hemodynamics. This 0.75 FTE role runs 0700 to 1730, with opportunities to scrub cases and learn electrophysiology.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with pediatric care experience, hold a WA RN license, and maintain BLS (PEARS/PALS accepted in lieu of BLS). Bachelor’s preferred, plus strong team collaboration and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior pediatric health care experience may be required for specific departments.
• WA State RN license is required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire; PEARS/PALS accepted in lieu of BLS.
• PALS/PEARS must be maintained as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Care Process with patients and families.
• Circulate cases and monitor hemodynamics in the Cath Lab/EP Lab.
• May supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff and assistants as defined by state rules.
• Support CPI, IDEAs and patient safety initiatives as part of the care team.
