Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing care, patient transportation and clerical duties within our pediatric health network. This role offers a 0.9 FTE with day shifts and rotating weekends, providing opportunities to develop age-appropriate nursing care skills and collaboration with nurses and practitioners.

The position requires a high school diploma and certification eligibility in MA-R/MA-P, with certification in BLS and bedside healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven days of hire).
• Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty days of hire.
• Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure.
• MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Recent bedside care experience in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of nursing care, patient transportation and clerical support.
• Assist in basic nursing care, transport patients and perform clerical tasks.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills while caring for diverse patient populations.
