Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing care, patient transportation and clerical duties within our pediatric health network. This role offers a 0.9 FTE with day shifts and rotating weekends, providing opportunities to develop age-appropriate nursing care skills and collaboration with nurses and practitioners.

The position requires a high school diploma and certification eligibility in MA-R/MA-P, with certification in BLS and bedside healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven days of hire).
• Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty days of hire.
• Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure.
• MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Recent bedside care experience in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.61 - $39.01 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
