Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO, is hiring for a full-time Day shift patient care technician. NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE UP TO $10,000. The role provides support to nursing staff, delivers patient care across age groups, and participates in safety and quality initiatives within a comprehensive care team.

Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS, and CNA/CPCT/A/NCPCT certification or equivalent. Preferred 1+ PCT experience in acute care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ PCT experience preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • CNA, CPCT/A, or NCPCT certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
  • Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
  • Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assists in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy.
