Job summary

CHOP is seeking a Registered Nurse for the outpatient Cardiology department. The role is Monday-Fri with travel to satellite offices as needed. A minimum of three years pediatric nursing experience is required; cardiology experience is preferred.

The nurse will practice at a competent to proficient level and contribute to patient care standards. Under supervision, the RN will lead care planning, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and mentor staff while ensuring adherence to policies

Qualifications

• RN license (Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey) or eligibility required.
• Three years pediatric nursing experience recommended.
• Cardiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care following the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with family and care team to coordinate all aspects of care.
• Lead and participate in unit governance and quality improvement activities.
• Provide leadership, precept new staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.
