The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.
Responsibilities vary based on candidate interests and training, including outpatient pediatric cardiology and inpatient services. Opportunities for clinical research and collaboration are available through the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute of Chicago. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Medical Director of Heart Center Quality Improvement oversees and manages overall quality improvement performance. Collaborates with various leadership teams to foster improvements in care, safety, and efficiency. Demonstrates expertise in quality improvement methodologies, data analysis, and systems improvement to enhance clinical outcomes, value, and patient safety. This leadership role involves change management across the Heart Center and representing quality initiatives organization-wide.
Knowledge of QI methodologies, proficiency in EHR and MS Office, excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and extensive QI tools experience.
