Responsibilities

The Coordinator of Quality Improvement, reporting to the Manager of Quality Improvement, coordinates all mandatory QI activities between carriers and Boncura Clients. The role aims to help clients achieve maximum quality incentives through gap reporting, sharing best practices, and ensuring timely completion of required reports. This person will also serve as a key liaison between the quality nurse and reporting teams to ensure accurate and actionable reports.

  • Project manages submission of QI project documentation, including GPRO, 5 Star, and HEDIS, to carriers.
  • Coordinates reporting requests, creates monthly reports on gaps in care, and confirms data accuracy through quality checks and audits.
  • Provides prospective outreach to patients for upcoming projects.
  • Creates executive summaries of QI project progress.
  • Performs data entry for quality data submissions.
  • Tracks and resolves customer complaints.
  • Monitors health plan portals for report releases and updates team.
  • Evaluates changes to the BCBS MSA plan and updates incentive impact assessments.
  • Reviews updates to NCQA, AGDIS, and 5 Star metrics, recommends adjustments, and updates reference guides.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 5 years healthcare experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including data manipulation, formulas, graphs, and pivot tables.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask.
  • Experience with Epic formatting and content.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
The compensation range is $20.59-$30.89 hourly, with actual pay based on skills, experience, and other factors. Additional incentives may apply.
