Job summary

University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to provide essential cardiac imaging services and support to pediatric patients. The role includes training to perform echocardiography under medical supervision and contributing to departmental operations.

The candidate should be registry-eligible and committed to ongoing learning, patient safety, and adherence to PHI and hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Registry eligible sonographer; will be trained and must be willing to learn and perform all aspects of echocardiography exam under medical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serves as registry eligible sonographer; will be trained and must be willing to learn and perform all aspects of echocardiography exam under medical supervision.
• Performs administrative tasks to contribute to the successful operation of the department.
• Follows established guidelines for cleaning, storing & disinfecting equipment per Manufacturer, ODH, IAC and JCAHO standards.
• Participates in a learning environment, including continued development and learning of knowledge and skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

What You Will Do
