Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the PCICU team. Under nurse supervision, you will perform routine, delegated patient care activities and document findings for critically ill cardiac patients from birth to young adulthood.

You will verify patient information, obtain vital signs, assist with dressing, transport patients, and ensure a safe, compassionate environment for patients and families.

Qualifikationen

• CNA certification is required.
• BLS certification required or provided by training provider.
• One year of clinical experience or completed intern program.
• Ability to work full-time day shift and every other weekend.

• Assist the patient with changing/dressing.
• Transports the patient by stretcher, bed, or wheelchair.
• Identifies abnormal findings and reports to nursing staff.
• Escorts patients to holding rooms.
• Verifies patient information and orients patients and families to the environment.
• Obtains vital signs.
