Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking a skilled sonographer to perform pediatric and congenital adult echocardiography, rotating between clinic and hospital. The role includes on-call duties and travel to outreach sites as needed.

The candidate will hold RDCS AE certification, with RDCS PE registry within 12 months, plus an associate degree in cardiovascular technology and, if in ND, NDMIRT licensure. This is a full-time, patient-focused position.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience working independently in adult echocardiography.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS AE) certification is required.
• RDCS Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS PE) registry or equivalent within 12 months of training is required.
• If working in North Dakota and performing medical imaging procedures, licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board is required.

Responsibilities

• Take call at the hospital on a rotational basis- includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Rotate between clinic and hospital to perform echoes on congenital adult and pediatric patients as needed.
• Perform echoes on the pediatric echo clinic.
• May travel to outreach sites if needed.
• May have other duties as assigned to help the team.
