Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced pediatric echocardiography sonographer to join our expanding team in Glendale, AZ. The West Valley Float position primarily covers the Glendale clinic with additional coverage at Estrella clinic and Banner network locations.

Candidates must be ARDMS/CCI certified in pediatric echocardiography and able to travel between sites. Role involves complex transthoracic echocardiograms for adults and children, including congenital heart disease, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school for Cardiac Ultrasound as designated by the AMA and AIUM.
• National certification in the area of specialty from ARDMS or CCI as RDCS-PE or RCCS. BLS required.
• Pediatric certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult echocardiograms with complex congenital heart disease.
• Record, interrogate, and measure anatomy or physiology; produce high-quality images and preliminary reports.
• Follow orders, apply policies, and participate in quality improvement and accreditation processes.
• Mentor or precept other sonographers, students, and trainees; educate patients and families.
