Job summary

UW Health’s pediatric cardiac sonography team at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI, seeks a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join a leading echo lab. You'll scan tiny hearts with cutting-edge ultrasound equipment, covering fetal to adult patients across clinics, OR, cath lab, and ED.

The role offers 90% FTE (36 hours/week), day shifts Mon–Fri with rotating call, and a sign-on incentive plus pay differentials. UW Health emphasizes professional growth and outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CHAAHEP approved ultrasound program.
• Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of pediatric echo professionals who are leaders in the field.
• Work with the latest ultrasound equipment and technology in a collaborative environment.
• Join our IAC-accredited Pediatric Echo Lab for pediatric transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography.
• Care for patients from fetal life through adulthood across outpatient clinics, inpatient units, OR, cath lab, and ED.
