Job summary

Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center are seeking experienced pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists to join the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease.

Candidates will provide care surrounding cardiac surgery, develop anesthesia protocols, oversee quality registries, and participate in education for students and residents within a dynamic academic department.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current board certification in Anesthesiology; Pediatric Anesthesia preferred.
• Unrestricted Texas medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Demonstrated clinical teaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct patient care before, during, and after pediatric cardiac surgery.
• Develop and implement care protocols for pediatric cardiac anesthesia.
• Oversee QI registries and quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead and participate in education for medical students and residents.
