Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) seeks a full-time Paraprofessional to join our Bus Aide team. You will support students with disabilities on campus transportation in a safe, caring environment and collaborate with bus drivers and school staff.

Qualificações

• Must be able to communicate effectively with bus driver and school staff.
• Patient, self-motivated and able to problem solve with children and parents.
• Ability to connect with children and provide support as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students with disabilities in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Ensure students are seated and secured properly during transit.
• Provide support to students with mobility challenges, including helping with wheelchairs.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe environment on the bus.
• Communicate issues or concerns during transportation with driver and staff.
• Attend to the needs of individual students, including personal care tasks if necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures on the bus.
• Help with other school tasks as needed.
