The role involves night shifts, conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, administering care, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered behavioral health services.

Preferred BSN and CPI/BLS certifications, with at least 1 year of RN experience in mental health.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of RN experience
• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English

Aufgaben

• Perform and document comprehensive nursing assessments considering age-specific criteria.
• Develop and implement an appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Prioritize nursing interventions based on assessment findings and changes in condition.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Adhere to hospital policies and ANA standards of practice.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team to ensure safety and quality care.
• Perform CPI holds and manage behavioral health and substance abuse patients as needed.
