Job summary

Gould Medical Group is seeking aLicensed Clinician to join its outpatient mental health clinic in Modesto, CA. The role focuses on pediatric and adolescent mental health, delivering brief, evidence-based interventions within a PCBH model.

You will provide CBT, PST, and MI, work collaboratively with pediatrics, and support population health initiatives, while maintaining flexible scheduling and some telework onsite. No inpatient duties are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician in California required.

Responsibilities

• Work in outpatient mental health clinic with children and adolescents (up to 18).
• Provide short-term individual psychotherapy, typically 15–30 minutes per visit.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions (CBT, PST, MI) in a primary care setting.
• Deliver culturally responsive care and participate in population health activities.
• Perform warm hand-offs and same-day referrals to the medical team.
• Triage and manage a broad range of presenting concerns.
• Document efficiently in shared medical record using concise progress notes.
• Support PHQ-9 and GAD-7 screenings and protocol-driven care.
• Adapt to unscheduled, high-volume clinic flow within PCBH model.
• Set flexible hours; some telework available onsite; some evening hours.
• Phone-call coverage is 1 week in 23 weeks; low paperwork; no inpatient work.
