Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) within 6 months of hire.
• Management of Aggressive Behavior certification within 45 days of hire.
• Handle with Care certification within 45 days of hire.
• Valid unrestricted State of Oklahoma Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas as assigned.
• Write parking tickets for illegally parked vehicles.
• Investigate complaints, disturbances and thefts with concise reports.
• Operate two-way radio following protocol.
• Record shift activities in logs or forms.
• Support senior security officers and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist law enforcement and hospital staff in investigations.
• Escort Fire Department and respond to alarms and safety concerns.
• Assist in restraining disruptive individuals on OU Health premises.
