The Behavioral Health Specialist - Pediatrics at CHC of Snohomish County operates within CHC Medical Clinics to provide clinically appropriate therapy for pediatric patients. The role emphasizes prevention, brief interventions, and coordination with the care team to support families and improve outcomes.

Travel between Everett College and Everett Central locations may be required. A Master’s degree and Washington state licenses are preferred for advanced practice, with the CHC credentialing

Qualifications

• Reads, speaks, understands and writes proficiently in English.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and mental health coding.
• Experience with DSM-5 criteria and clinical interventions.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, family and group therapy to CHC patients.
• Conduct brief assessments and triage, determine risk and referrals.
• Recommend psychological interventions and care management.
• Support same-day access and direct intake for established patients.
• Collaborate with PCPs and community resources for coordinated care.
