Job summary

Community Health Center of Snohomish County seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist for School-Based Health Centers (SBHC). You will provide individual, group, and family therapy to students, focusing on prevention and brief interventions, in collaboration with the SBHC medical and dental teams.

The role involves travel between sites, flexible hours, and potential evenings/weekends; summer coverage at CHC clinics may occur to maintain access to care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Behavioral Science, Social Work or related field, OR Doctoral Degree in Psychology.
• Active licensure as LMFT/LMHC/LICSW/PsyD in Washington; CPR/First Aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family therapy to students.
• Develop prevention-focused, brief, solution-oriented interventions.
• Collaborate with SBHC medical/dental teams and school staff.
• Coordinate care with community resources and referrals.
• Conduct screening, assessment and diagnostic interviewing as appropriate.
• Deliver psycho-educational services and group classes.
