University of Texas at Austin seeks a Behavioral Health Care Coordinator to support Texas Child Mental Health initiatives at UT Main Campus. You will work with pediatric specialists and school partners to streamline referrals, coordinate care, and document clinical information.

This grant-funded position runs through Aug 31, 2027 with renewal potential; requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field and 3+ years in health care or educational settings;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in health care, government, education, or related setting.
• Master's degree preferred in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pediatric psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed professionals, and staff to support students and families.
• Navigate treatment recommendations and assemble clinical background and referrals.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments and document in the medical record.
