Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children in ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA in St. Louis, MO. A paid training program is provided to become RBT certified, supporting your growth in this meaningful role.

The position offers flexible part-time scheduling in St. Louis with opportunities to advance through mentoring, CEUs, and visa sponsorship options as part of a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training; if not, Powerback will provide training.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy under supervision.
• Ensures all billing and documentation support services.
• Updates availability in the EMR and communicates changes.
• Communicates with Client Advocate and Supervisor about assignments.
• Adheres to the BACB code of ethics in service delivery.
• Performs other related duties as required.

We offer an intense PAID training program to become a Behavior Technician where you will learn how to implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician (RBT) will use ABA techniques to encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones through teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Posted Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
