Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Washington, MO team for after-school ABA therapy with children on the autism spectrum. You will work 1:1 under a BCBA supervisor, delivering skill-building and behavior support in a structured, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18+ with a HS Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children.
  • Completion of 40 hour RBT training; willingness to obtain RBT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision.
  • Follow the behavior treatment plan and supervise client progression.
  • Submit billing and ensure documentation supports services.
  • Update availability in the EMR and communicate changes with the Client Advocate.
  • Maintain regular communication with Client Advocate and Supervisor.
  • Adhere to BACB ethics in service delivery.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Responsibilities
  • The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.
  • Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
  • Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
  • Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
  • Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
  • Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
  • Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
  • Minimum 1 year working with children.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics. Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Posted Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
