Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Davison, Michigan, is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA play-based therapy for children. You will work with families and a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and track progress in a clinic setting.

The role offers full-time hours, a Monday–Friday schedule, and on-site duties at multiple Southeast Michigan clinics. We provide paid training and cover RBT certification costs, with opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disorders preferred but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to upholding the RBT Ethics Code.
• Ability to pass a background check and occupational health screening.

• Maintain Clear Communication – Regularly report progress to the supervising BCBA and collaborate on strategies for optimal outcomes.

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide 1:1 play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help children develop essential skills in communication, social interaction, and daily living. Through positive reinforcement and structured interventions, you’ll empower our “kiddos” to build independence and improve their quality of life.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Active & Engaged Work – Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and bending.

• Hands-On Support – Lifting up to 50-75 lbs may be required.

• Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.

• Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings.

• Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

• No nights or weekends!

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $17.15 - $20.80 per hour (based on experience, certification and education)
