Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Southeast Michigan is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children, focusing on communication, social interaction, and daily living skills. Therapists use evidence-based ABA techniques and collect data to measure progress under BCBA supervision.

The role is full-time in clinic settings across Southeast Michigan, with no in-home visits. The position offers paid training, RBT certification support, and competitive hourly pay while contributing

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disorders preferred but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to upholding the RBT Ethics Code.
• Ability to pass a background check and occupational health screening.

• Bring Treatment Plans to Life – Implement BCBA-designed treatment plans with precision and care.
• Maintain Clear Communication – Regularly report progress to the supervising BCBA and collaborate on strategies for optimal outcomes.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Active & Engaged Work – Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and bending.

• Hands‑On Support – Lifting up to 50-75 lbs may be required.

• Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.

• Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings.

• Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Work Schedule:

• Full‑time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• No nights or weekends!

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $17.15 - $20.65 per hour (based on experience, certification and education)
