Qualifications

  • Credentialed audiologist with experience in hearing assessments and treatment plans.
  • Strong skills in patient counseling and care plan implementation.

Responsibilities

+ Hospital: Dell Children's Medical Group ENT Clinic

+ Location: Austin, Texas

Benefit options and eligibility vary by position. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform audiological and vestibular function testing; develop hearing correction plans of care for patients with audiological impairments.
  2. Perform diagnostic testing to assess patient's hearing and vestibular status and to determine appropriate treatment.
  3. Develop, document, implement and evaluate hearing correction plan.
  4. Provide hearing device modifications.
  5. Educate and counsel patients, caregivers and family members on treatment options and continuing care.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  1. Audiologist credentialed from the Texas Department of State Health Services required.
  2. Audiologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.

Education:

  1. Doctorate of Audiology (AudD) required.
