Job summary

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford is seeking an Art Therapist to design and implement comprehensive art therapy programs for children, adolescents, and families. You will work under the Director of Child Life Services to support medical goals with creative modalities, maintain charts, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

The role requires a Master's degree in Art Therapy, with at least one year of direct pediatric experience, and board certification or eligibility within 365 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Art Therapy or related field with emphasis in Art Therapy.
• One (1) year of directly related experience with children in individual and group interventions.
• Licensure: Art Therapist by ATCB or Registered Art Therapist within 365 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with patient care team and documents information.
• Develops and adjusts treatment plans based on assessments and objectives.
• Educates staff and community on the use of Art Therapy and its role in healing.
• Maintains and analyzes patient progress and sessions.
