Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical college.
• Illinois medical license or ability to obtain before starting.
• Completed Anesthesiology Residency and Pediatric Fellowship OR combined Anesthesia and Pediatric Residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology (ABA).
• Active Illinois Controlled Substance License and DEA license.
• Pediatric Anesthesia clinical experience documented in past 24 months.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthetic care throughout the hospital per compliance standards.
• Offers full anesthetic services for pediatric and adult patients as needed.
• Supervises CRNAs and participates in resident education.
• Delivers anesthesia in OR, OB, PACU, ICU, and related clinical settings.
• Performs preoperative assessment and post-anesthesia recovery planning.
• Coordinates anesthesia administration with surgeons and OR staff.
• Maintains airway management and life support as needed.
• Adheres to HIPAA and hospital policies in all activities.
