Job summary

The Staff Pad supports a Kansas City Ambulatory Surgery Center seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to provide pediatric anesthesia care in a PRN role. The position emphasizes patient safety, teamwork and high-quality outcomes with no call and no weekend requirements.

Candidates should have pediatric anesthesia experience, current BLS and PALS (PALS within 6 months), and board certification is preferred. Join a dedicated team focused on safe, compassionate care for young patients.

Qualifications

• Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients.
• BLS and PALS certifications current; PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Board certification strongly preferred.
• Comfortable in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients.
• Collaborate with dentists, nurses, dental assistants and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
• Manage anesthesia for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day.
• Prioritize patient safety, comfort and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment.
