Job summary

The Staff Pad, in Houston (South), TX, is partnering with a respected Ambulatory Surgery Center to hire an experienced Anesthesiologist. This full-time role supports general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients within a dedicated surgical team.

You will collaborate with dentists, nurses, and staff to deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia. The position emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes, with a predictable schedule and no required call or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric and special needs patients.
• Active state medical licensure as Anesthesiologist.
• BLS and AHA PALS certification; PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• National Board Certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients.
• Collaborate with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
• Manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day.
• Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes in a busy ASC setting.
