Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a respected Ambulatory Surgery Center in Houston, TX, to hire an experienced Anesthesiologist for safe general anesthesia care of pediatric and special needs patients.

This Full-Time role (3+ days/week) offers no on-call, no weekends or holidays, and collaboration with a dedicated surgical team to ensure high-quality outcomes in a busy ASC environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients.
• Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure.
• Current BLS and AHA PALS certification; PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• National Board Certification strongly preferred.
• Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients.
• Partner with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
• Manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day.
• Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment.
