Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Accurate alpha/numeric keyboarding ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Accession, prepare, arrange, retrieve, order and store anatomic specimens.
• Maintain tissue specimen storage and dispose at intervals for retrieval.
• Coordinate send outs, consultations and transcription duties.
• Prepare stains and solutions for tissue preparation and staining.
• Perform quality control and preventive maintenance on instruments and supplies.
• Support staff and students in orientation and training.
• Update Policies and Procedures; assist CAP regulatory preparation.
