Job summary

Food Allergy Institute (FAI) in Hoboken, NJ, is opening a new clinic and seeks a compassionate Provider (NP or PA) to deliver pediatric allergy care in a fast-paced setting. You will work closely with the team to ensure high-quality visits, chart accuracy, and patient education.

The role includes structured, immersive initial training at our Long Beach, CA location and opportunities for professional growth, with a comprehensive benefits package and travel to affiliate sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant School.
• Current New Jersey NP and RN or PA License.
• National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
• PA or NP Certifications, preferred.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS Certification.
• Familiarity with medications, dosages, reconstitution and IV placement.
• Proficiency with office software and prior EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned patient visit preparation and clarifications on schedule.
• Prepare charts accurately and understand appointment types.
• Demonstrate accurate chart preparation and understanding of Challenge Visits.
• Maintain clinic presence during hours and respond in emergencies.
• Manage and stabilize grade 1–3 reactions; provide TIP education.
• Provide excellent patient communication and care in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with escalation leads and ensure follow-up on cases.
• Participate in off-site events to promote services and partnerships.
