Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital’s Allergy and Asthma Program seeks a Clinical Assistant to support clinicians in a fast-paced immunology setting. You will help with exams, vital signs, scheduling, and data entry while rotating between Boston and Brookline Place locations, and occasionally working evenings.

Qualifications include a HS Diploma and at least one year of clinical or healthcare experience, with pediatric exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Clinical Assistant or related healthcare experience; pediatric experience preferred.
• Ability to rotate between Boston and Brookline Place locations and Fegan 6 specialties.
• Ability to work occasional evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinician during examinations in a fast-paced environment, including measuring and recording vital signs.
• Assist with scheduling of appointments with courtesy and tact.
• Collect, verify, and record required information per procedures.
• Identify and report unusual findings to RN, PA, or Physician.
• Obtain records and enter information into computer systems for appointments.
• Answer and route telephone calls; provide general office support.
• Provide general clinical operations support, including stocking and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Transport patients, supplies, and equipment as needed.
